I see cars like mine listed for $X on used-car sites - can I expect offers to be close to that?

There’s lots of variables that can impact offers – market demand, inventory needs of our partners, transportation costs if the buyer is far from you, and so forth – but the bottom line is that our buying partners are businesses, and they will only buy cars if they think they can turn a profit. Buyers spend thousands of dollars to recondition and market cars before they turn around and sell them. The evaluation numbers you receive from us are a much closer indicator of what you can expect from the offer, because that evaluation is based on what dealers/wholesalers are buying cars for, not what they’re re-selling for at the end of the process.
